Bluebells in Castle Woods, Dinefwr I & II

Not far from my home we have a National Trust Property called Newton House
In it's grounds is Dinefwr castle (Owned by cadw)

The castle is  banked by some beautiful woods and in spring they show off a mighty fine
display of bluebells, this year I made a special journey to capture the magic of this place

A Commission of Four Paintings

I was asked by a lovely lady to paint 4 paintings for her 3 children and husband.
Many years ago her mother had 4 paintings done of her cottage in the 4 seasons and each of the children got one after her death.
Sadly now she has terminal cancer and thought it would be nice to have the same legacy.
I was very touched to be asked to do this for her.
She is delighted with my paintings so I just hope the children and husband are too
