Watercolour Snowdrops

I haven't picked up my watercolour paints in years
but after photographing snowdrops in my garden
I decided that only watercolours could give me the subtleness
I was hoping to achieve

I am delighted with the end results

and achy wrists!

First layer on...

Because it was so big, working on the floor was the only option for me

Starting to add the finishing touchs

I have often admired the view across the steel works at Port Talbot
Just has the evening draws in the hues of pink colour the low sky reflection the last of the suns light
The steam and mist rising from the steels works just adds the to the beauty

Okay, It's an eyesore but in the right light it's a beautiful eyesore
I hope I have captured it's beauty in my painting

I adore Stonehenge, not because of the tourist trap that people flock to but
land that they stand on. The chalk downs that make up Salisbury plain has
a magical charm about it that swells my emotions, energy, happiness, spirituality all
invoke my senses..
