My Version of Monets 'Haystacks'
Many years ago a part of a course we was told to copy a painting style of a painter we admired the most mine was Monet, I decided the haystacks looked the most easiest and set about working on this small canvas board ( about A4 in size) I was in for a shock, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks I still had not finished it, those tiny dabs of paint each one a different shade. Finally my tutor took over explained and showed me, when I did totally understand I had an epiphany and a whole new level of respect for Monet...
I still have this piece, although offered for sale no one has ever seen in it what I do...
So here are my haystacks inspired by Monet....
