I have not been painting or doing anything in my studio
I am struggling at the moment with my health and my artwork
So I have taken a step back and have a little rest

I have been working on smaller pieces of work, mostly because my hands are bad at the mo
trying to use hands that wont coordinate with the brain is very frustrating!

Cerreg Cennen Castle - A Winters Night

 

It seems I am drawn to painting this castle at the moment, being local to me and I guess one of the most dramatic set castles in
Wales, I need no excuse to visit it in person however it's easier for me to visit it with my brush!

I love this place and I love painting it!

Something Different..

I have spent the last week trying to explore different subjects and techniques, I have been struggling with excruciating jaw pain and blinding headaches that leave my face swollen my left eye half closed and no ability to focus on anything other then the pulsing throb of my teeth. This is on top of all the other problems my illness brings.

However these three little pieces came out of my studio and I did very much enjoy doing them, I really like the horse one, His name is Toby he is a palomino Welsh cob stallion.
